The Salvation Army (Salvos) is one of Australias largest providers of alcohol and other drug (AOD) programs including withdrawal management residential and non-residential rehabilitation and harm reduction programs. Salvos services go beyond addressing the core issues and challenges associated with problematic substance abuse and provide participants a place of hope compassion and dignity to recover safely.

About The Role

The Salvation Army is offering a rewarding senior leadership role as AOD Regional Manager Northern Victoria where your strategic insight can help shape impact services across both local and national levels. As part of our National Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Leadership Team you will play a key role in delivering innovative client-centred services that truly change lives.

Reporting to the AOD State Manager this is a permanent full-time position based in Bendigo VIC.

How you will make an impact

  • Mentor support and inspire front line AOD managers across Northern Victoria fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Provide operational and clinical oversight to ensure high-quality service delivery and staff performance
  • Lead the local implementation of the National AOD Model of Care and associated frameworks
  • Drive people and performance strategies to ensure service delivery meets evolving community needs
  • Contribute to national planning and innovation within a values-led client-focused environment

You will be an integral part of our national leadership team collaborating to shape frameworks and practices that define the future of AOD support across Australia.

What you will bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in social work welfare community development or a related field
  • Additional qualifications or experience in business or service management
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience in AOD or related social/community services
  • Strong people management and team development skills
  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence and valid Employee Working with Children Check

Conditions

Compensation is in accordance with the Social Community Home Care and Disability Services Award Level 8.
