Link Nova Scotia is looking to hire two (2) Senior Project Managers working with the Engineering Division and Planning Division.
The Senior Project Manager(s) plays a pivotal role in identifying and implementing innovative solutions focused on leading a range of strategic transportation initiatives from Link Nova Scotias mandate and the Regional Transportation Plan. They will foster alignment across jurisdictions coordinate cross-functional project teams and ensure timely and effective implementation of transportation priorities. They will also provide leadership in the development of strategic plans policies and programs that enhance regional mobility improve infrastructure performance and strengthen connections between communities.
With a strong background in project management practices and demonstrated experience guiding complex transportation initiatives from planning through to implementation the Senior Project Manager will play a key role in advancing multi-modal transportation initiatives that supports the safe equitable and resilient movement of people and goods. The role also requires strong collaboration with internal teams external consultants or technical advisors and a broad network of partners from municipal provincial and federal organizations.

As Senior Project Manager your primary accountabilities will include (but are not limited to):
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering or Planning) plus several years of project management experience with a minimum of 3 years in a professional role managing projects. Professional certification in project management (e.g. PMP) would be an asset. An acceptable equivalent combination of education training and experience may be considered.

Your normal work week is typically 35 hours/week 7 hours/day. You may be required to work overtime on occasion.
The majority of your work is conducted in a comfortable office environment in downtown Halifax with moderate travel required within and outside of the Province.

You must be able to manage stressful complex situations and balance many different issues and considerations. Salary Range: $3760.89- $4701.11Bi-Weekly
