Hourly Pay Range:
$24.86 - $37.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidates expertise and years of experience among other factors.Position Highlights:

Position: Surgical Technologist - Main Operating Room - Neurosurgery
Location: Arlington Heights IL
Full time/Part time: Full Time 40 hours/week
Hours: Day shift Weekend as needed

Identifies and obtains the required surgical instrumentation equipment and supplies required for surgical procedures based on physicians request and the needs of patient; exchanges drug trays as needed under the direction of licensed medical staff. Inspects properly cares for and handles surgical instrumentation and equipment appropriately.
Performs scrub responsibilities according to physicians preference and hospital policies and procedures. Anticipates and is attentive to the surgeons needs for instruments ligatures sponges irrigation etc. during the surgical procedure.
Demonstrates the skills necessary to provide a safe environment and communicate effectively with all age groups of patients pediatric through geriatric.
What you will need:
Graduate of an approved surgical technology program
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
Previous experience in surgery or on-the-job experience
Certification in surgical technology preferred
