Europe Communications Officer (M/F)
As the Communications Officer for Europe you will report directly to the Vice President of Europe Communications. This leadership position encompasses a comprehensive role in both internal and external communications strategies requiring effective collaboration with Communications Directors across all clusters as well as central communications functions.
Key Responsibilities:
External Communications:
- Approve and enhance the content of Press Releases across all clusters ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and strategic objectives.
- Oversee and update the content of the Europe country pages on the corporate website to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Share and analyze daily press clippings for each country providing insights to Corporate Communications.
- Proactively inform the press team about Press Releases and major interviews taking place within the region.
- Develop and maintain the Europe Presentation ensuring it reflects the latest achievements and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure that branding guidelines are consistently applied across all materials (audiovisual print eventsinternal and external).
Internal Communications:
- Lead the development and delivery of the Europe Managerial Communications including speeches and Team Talk presentations ensuring the logistical organisation of these.
- Actively participate in the Group Editorial Committee to represent Europes interests and communicate key projects and initiatives.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of the Europe internal Newsletter ensuring timely and impactful communication of updates.
- Continuously update and manage the Europe intranet page including presentations news and employee ID cards.
- Collaborate with various functions in the region to create and issue newsletters that reflect departmental initiatives and achievements.
- Monitor and enhance the implementation and operations of Alstom TVs across each country ensuring effective internal communication.
Profile:
- A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in communications within a corporate environment ideally in a multinational context.
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communications skills concisely and persuasively.
- Experienced in editorial skill with the ability to craft compelling and consistent messages that resonate with stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in media relations including a proven track record of effectively engaging with media outlets effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly creative proactive in suggesting improvements in content and design with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Proficient in project management skills organizing planning and executing communications projects within deadlines and budgets.
- Proven track record of utilizing digital and Social media as well as analytics to engage build brand and develop compelling and engaging content.
This role is a critical position within the Communications team driving strategic initiatives and fostering a cohesive communication strategy for the Europe region working closely with the Europe Communication Director and the global team on a daily basis.
