Colgate is looking for a Senior Specialist Scientific Communications to drive the development and execution of publication strategies across various product this role youll ensure all publication activities are fully compliant with relevant guidelines maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity and transparency.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead Publication Initiatives: Facilitate and lead Publication Working Group meetings collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather essential input and prioritize publication needs.
  • Ensure Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to company publication policies Good Publication Practices (GPP) regulatory requirements and ICMJE guidelines for ethical publication.
  • Manage Publication Portfolio: Oversee publication plans and metrics maintaining comprehensive repositories to provide accurate and easily accessible information to stakeholders.
  • Support Submission Process: Provide hands-on support for the submission of manuscripts to journals as needed.
  • Contribute Scientific Expertise: Offer scientific writing support for key publications and various ad-hoc projects.

Required Qualification

  • A Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as life sciences healthcare communications or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of GPP ICMJE guidelines and regulatory requirements pertaining to scientific publications.
  • A minimum of 7 years of industry experience with at least 3 years specifically focused on scientific communications or publications.

Preferred qualifications

  • Advanced Degree: A Masters PharmD or PhD in life sciences healthcare or communications.
  • Certification: CMPP or AMWA certification or commitment to obtaining within 1 year of hire.


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $106400.00 - $150000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience qualifications and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses profit-sharing and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental vision basic life insurance paid parental leave disability coverage and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employees hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
