We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations for our employees across US regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international payroll processing particularly in these regions and demonstrate proficiency in Dayforce and NetSuite. Experience in global payroll environments and working as part of a cross-border HR team is essential. This role will be based in our Center of Excellence location in Karachi Pakistan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process monthly and bi-weekly payroll for employees in the US ensuring full compliance with local payroll regulations.
- Manage payroll systems using Dayforce and NetSuite ensuring data integrity and up-to-date information for employees across US regions.
- Accurately enter and validate payroll data including new hires terminations changes in pay rates bonuses and other compensation adjustments.
- Generate and provide payroll reports to relevant stakeholders ensuring payroll data is precise and addressing discrepancies as needed.
- Stay informed about changes in US regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate any associated risks.
- Collaborate with the global HR and finance teams to ensure payroll integration aligns with organizational standards and regional requirements.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees ensuring timely and accurate support especially regarding compensation tax issues and benefits.
- Maintain accurate and organized payroll records for each region ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll processing experience particularly within US regions with a strong understanding of local payroll requirements and compliance.
- Proficient in Dayforce and NetSuite. Strong proficiency in G Suite (Google Sheets Docs etc.) is essential.
- Experience working with international payroll processes and regulations particularly in the USA.
- Demonstrate high accuracy and attention to detail in payroll processing and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with employees across multiple countries and regions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle confidential payroll data with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and manage payroll for multiple countries in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
