Job Summary
Locations: Hong Kong
Your Next Challenge
- Act as RSE and perform RSE duties for buildings and infrastructure projects including statutory site supervision requirements.
- Provide technical expertise sound advice and appropriate solutions and to lead design submissions to meet the client and statutory requirements.
- Provide statutory advice and proactively liaise with clients other appointed Authorised Persons Registered Geotechnical Engineers and stakeholders and attend meetings as required.
- Assist in the delivery of multiple projects from start to complete and to meet the clients expectations cost and programme.
- Assist in the business development of the Buildings market through client liaison in the preparation of technical bids.
- Offer support and guidance to other members of the project team.
What Youll Need
- Holds a current valid registration for Registered Structural Engineer as prescribed under the Buildings Ordinance.
- 20 years experience in the capacity of a Registered Structural Engineer.
- 25 years post qualification experience on buildings and infrastructure works and on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Structural design experience for aviation and civil industries would be an advantage.
- Communication skills to liaise effectively with clients authorities stakeholders for approval of submissions.
- Project management and people skills to work with project team and for effective project delivery.
- Familiarity with relevant codes of practice practice notes and local legislations. Knowledge in international design standards would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with private and public works consultancies and construction contracts in Hong Kong.
