A Day in the Life

Within this role you ensure high quality service interventions. You support a portfolio over 400 different pieces of equipment within a scope of over 125 countries. Ensuring that every service intervention we perform meets the high-quality standards we conduct within Medtronic.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic and/or mechanical electromechanical and/or optical areas that include constructing troubleshooting calibrating adjusting testing diagnosing and maintaining equipment components devices or systems
- Works from schematics engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; adjusts modifications and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions
- Diagrams and evaluates existing process (usage) inform the Supervisor/Focal Point on critical/structural issues and contributes to improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma)
- Helps create a clean organized and efficient work environment by focusing on six key principles: Sort Set in Order Shine Standardize Sustain and Safety and takes Household rules Code of Conduct and Environmental Health and Safety procedures into account to guarantee optimum work conditions
- Perform all activities to conform with all work instructions and quality procedures and acts as a team player and contribute to a great place to work environment
- Relationship building and tight cooperation with other employees within the international environment of the Service & Repair Centre of Excellence.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree in Electronics or Mechanical with a minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- English (speaking/reading/writing)
- Attention to details combined with a quality mindset
- ESD awareness combined with SAP-ERP experience
- Team player with strong passion for technology
- Soldering skills and ability to repair on component level.
