This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and will assist in delivery of consolidated financial results of key Actuarial related metrics (primarily based on Embedded Value basis reporting including but not limited to NBP OFSG monetisation). This role will be integral part of Group Financial Performance Management team and will work closely with broader Group Performance Management team which is based in Group Office Hong Kong.We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated result oriented and solution focus with ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) a good attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset are also desirable attributes.
Key Accountabilities
Assist in consolidation and analysis of the Group and LBU level financial results on regular basis.
Familiarise with the enterprise-wide financial reporting systems (including MI and regulatory reporting systems) and assist in the data process of financial results with appropriate validations.
Assist in the production of presentations to senior management
Work closely with the broader team with go-getter attitude to improve existing processes.
Support ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor
Candidate Specifications:
0-2 years of work experience in Actuarial / Finance domain with graduation in Actuarial Science Mathematics Statistics Finance or relevant subject.
Intermediate level of understanding of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience with financial reporting system OneStream and other analytical applications such as Cognos POWER BI would be an advantage.
