This job involves DCS engineering for Solar BESS and Microgrid Renewables Projects. You will be involved in collection of inputs customer meetings design concepts engineering/implementation processsimulation&testingbaseduponcustomerrequirements.Lead all Project Life Cycle stages: input analysis Development & Engineering Testing & Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and commissioning per project specs.

InThisRoleYourResponsibilitiesWillBe:

ProjectEngineering:

• CollectionandreviewofprojectinputsfromtheFrontOfficeorfromthecustomersite through e-mail kick off meeting site survey
• Efficiently complete new and updated projects reliant on DCS and SCADA for Solar/BESS/Microgrid involving engineering and configuration of software and hardware
• Lead team in implementing controls from SAMA functional diagrams or descriptions; modify DCS/SCADA graphics; develop macros validate.
• Creation/modificationofDCSinternalpointdatabase;extractionofHWIOlistfromcustomer drawings; preparation of database; querying with HW team and customer for any clarifications needed
• Guide team on IO list and DBID; Build DCS system components like Binary gates A/M stations PIDs; Implement simulation logic for testing controls and graphics. Configurationon3^rd partyprotocolsELCandSLCcommunication
• Distributing the engineering work to system integrators; making adequate follow-up for completionofprojectwithinbudgeton/beforetimeandwithquality;Participationinkick-off meetings(KOM)internalandexternalmeetingsofprojects;Engagement incustomerdemos FATs SATs and commissioning activities
• ExperiencewithPSCADandPSSEmodelingtosimulateandtestpowersystems
• Must demonstrate proficiency in conducting process testing of Solar/BESS/Microgrid plants and BOP Possess working knowledge of industrial standards such as IEEE IEC NEC and Grid codes
• Interpret electrical single-line diagrams and switchboard control logic drawings; Familiarity with various equipment in renewable power plants including inverters transformers and capacitor banks.

• FaultdiagnosisofOvationsystemnetworksystemandvariouscommunicationinterfaces like OPC Modbus DNP3 serial IEC 61850 etc.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to fix HW/SW issues (e.g. controllers modules link modules etc.)
• Travel to project sites for site assignments testing and fine-tuning electrical control features. Customerfacingandpreparationofsitereport

• Proficiency in solving DCS/PLC control system
