Job Summary

  • Deliver stress and flexibility analysis calculations for HVAC ducts and supports considering applicable load cases and external loads provided by others.
  • Provide feedback from calculation to CAD Designers to update the 3D model.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assigned by the HVAC Stress Lead Engineer
  • Coordinate with the 3D Team
  • Manage own workload
  • Master project methodology procedures codes (EN 13480) and standards
  • Assess needed calculation input data
  • Assess calculation results
  • Ensure QC for compliance with nuclear projects
  • Use 3D models (Navisworks)
  • Liaise with other engineers and CAD designers when required

Qualifications :

Education/Qualifications:

  • Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in HVAC ducts calculation (STAAD Pro or equivalent)
  • Experience in supports calculation (STAAD Pro or equivalent)

Experience:

  • 5 years in stress calculation
  • Involvement in nuclear projects is a bonus
