Position: DOFI-In Director of First Impressions
We are seeking a professional confident and dedicated patient care coordinator to join our team and make a great impression as first point of contact. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional customer service and building strong connections with our young patients and their families.
Job Responsibilities
- Building sincere relationships with our families and team
- Verifying all patient forms are up to date
- Maintaining Schedules for the dentists and hygienists including scheduling to meet goals and filling last minute cancellations
- Helping patients with their scheduling needs
- Scheduling new patients and collecting all necessary information
- Corresponding with patients via text email and phone
- Scanning documents and attaching to patient charts
- Following processes and systems to ensure consistent service
What We Need From You (Skills)
- Good organization and communication skills
- Professional demeanor on the phone and in person
- Proficiency with Excel Word and Power Point
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures isrequired
- Willingness to learn and to cross train with Treatment Coordinators and Billing/Insurance
- Ability to read in write in English speaking other languages is a bonus!
- A minimum of 2 years related experience in a dental office
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual is a bonus
