Configuration Management Analyst

What Youll Do

Manages documentation for all project work to ensure complete revision control and data logging accuracy. Partner with the Project Engineers to make sure the document processes are followed while supporting project goals. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering quality support manufacturing and engineering data control activities.

You will contribute to establishing and maintaining baselines for project documentation and systems. This includes assisting in documenting requirements tracking changes and ensuring all work adheres to established configuration management principles throughout the project lifecycle.

Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation such as engineering drawings equipment specifications and schedules and contract modifications. Analyzes project documentation to ensure successful turnover of project documents to end users and subject matter experts. Coordinates modification records for management control.

What You Can Expect

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a technical or business-related discipline from an accredited program
• OR Applicants without a bachelors degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 8 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.

DOE 426.2 Requirements

In addition the applicant must meet the requirements of DOE O 426.2 (i.e. Baccalaureate in engineering or related science 2 years job-related and at least 1 year nuclear experience or a DOE O 426.2 alternative). DOE 426.2 experience requirements can be satisfied following the interim newly hired personnel will not be assigned duties that could impact the safety basis of nuclear facilities. (Ref. DOE O 426.2)

Preferred Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years job related experience preferred.
• The position requires the ability to provide frequent communication and interactions with variety of customers both internal and external.
• Must present information clearly and effectively through oral and written word.
• Typical experience could range from zero to seven years.
