The Company
A well-established independent financial institution headquartered in Geneva is seeking a talented and motivated professional to join their dynamic operations. With a strong presence across major global financial centers this organization provides comprehensive investment and wealth management services to a diverse international clientele including private and institutional investors.
The Team
You will be part of a small highly skilled team dedicated to front-to-back office operations. The environment is collaborative and international offering significant exposure to a wide range of financial products and services. The team plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence and supporting the day-to-day activities of the firm.
The Role
- Handling the full post-trade process for various asset classes including equities bonds funds FX and derivatives
- Performing daily reconciliations and resolving breaks with custodians and counterparties
- Managing the settlement of trades corporate actions and income processing
- Supporting the front office with position cash and transaction reporting
- Monitoring and improving internal controls and operational workflows
- Participating in projects to automate and enhance operational processes
- Liaising with external providers custodians brokers and internal departments
The Requirements
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in a similar operations or middle office role
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and post-trade processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Avaloq is an advantage
- Detail-oriented analytical and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English; French is a strong asset
