Mechanical Sales Engineer

Manufacturer of Industrial Blenders/Mixers in Central New Jersey is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support their Sales team.

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer to support their Sales department and join their dynamic this client-facing role you will help drive customer satisfaction by understanding client needs providing technical expertise and delivering tailored solutions that highlight their product value. This position plays a vital role in building relationships and supporting our mission to deliver innovation high-quality industrial solutions.

Responsibilities:
*Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and effectively explain product offerings and value.
*Build and maintain strong trust-based relationships with clients.
*Collaborate closely with internal departments to gather and clarify technical specifications.
*Utilize company systems such as CRM ERP and proposal generators to manage information efficiently.
*Keep accurate records of inventory client interactions and account documentation.
*Research older CAD files for dimensions replacement parts and retrofits as needed.
*Participate actively in group meetings brainstorming solutions and contributing ideas.

Requirements:
*Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Proven ability to collect analyze and interpret large amounts of technical information.
*Excellent problem-solving and adaptability skills in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong active listening and detailed note-taking abilities.
*Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
*Solid understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
*In-depth product knowledge or ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge practically.
*Some experience with electrical systems is preferred particularly an understanding of control boxes and their functions.
*Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
*Must reside within the New Jersey area or within commuting distance.

Salary Range: $65000-$85000/year (dependent on experience)
