DescriptionWe are seeking an exceptional Senior Principal Product Manager to join the Software Assurance team in a foundational role. You will define the vision strategy and processes for a greenfield product and services portfolio balancing innovation with strong privacy security governance and ethical standards. As a Senior Principal Product Manager in Software Assurance you will leverage your deep expertise in managing complex risk environments across emerging technologies to drive the creation and delivery of scalable robust and technically sound solutions. You will partner with cross-functional teams including assurance engineering security and senior stakeholders to ensure successful execution and deployment of products and services that address regulatory requirements and advance the forefront of innovation.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the product and services roadmap leveraging emerging technologies such as machine learning data analytics and innovative assurance methods.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering security and other teams to facilitate communication prioritize requirements and deliver high-impact products.
- Lead innovation by exploring new technologies and market trends establishing best practices and promoting Oracles thought leadership in Software Assurance.
- Own end-to-end product lifecycle from requirements definition to product launch ensuring timely high-quality delivery and business impact.
- Maintain deep domain and product expertise; engage with customers and industry forums to identify needs and inform product direction.
- Champion privacy governance by designing products that prioritize user privacy transparency and accountability in compliance with regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
- Identify assess and mitigate risks associated with emerging technologies partnering closely with security compliance and risk management teams.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by collaborating with internal and external teams to develop solutions that balance innovation with legal and industry requirements.
- Bachelors degree in computer science engineering security or related field; Masters degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management services management or a related leadership role with a strong focus on analytics and large-scale enterprise applications.
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies including AI machine learning data analytics and privacy technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA) and industry standards.
- Proven experience navigating complex risk landscapes and regulatory environments in technology domains.
- Outstanding presentation written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate influence stakeholders and lead diverse multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical business and regulatory considerations.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira Confluence).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP CIPP/US CIPT or similar.
- Experience in the software industry especially with large-scale applications deployed across diverse environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python Java) or experience with data analytics tools (e.g. Oracle Analytics) is a plus.
- Familiarity with assurance and compliance standards including Common Criteria and FIPS.
