Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Developer at Bromma you will work closely with our R&D Cloud and Diagnostics team in cooperation with internal stakeholders and external vendors. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Brommas diagnostic and cloud platforms including onboard diagnostics prognostics and telematics software.
Our team has taken a strategic decision to own our platforms and moved all source code in house. This gives you the opportunity to work with interesting and challenging technology and develop your skills in all technologies included in full stack development. You will be a key contributor to Brommas digitalization strategy helping to shape the future of the cargo handling industry.
What Youll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining Brommas diagnostic and cloud platforms including onboard diagnostics prognostics and telematics software
- Taking part in the full diagnostic lifecycle from machine data to user interface
- Supporting Brommas strategic shift to in-house platform ownership working across the full technology stack
- Contributing to Brommas digitalization strategy by delivering innovative scalable and reliable software solutions
- Play a key role in shaping future technology for cargo handling equipment
Education experience and personal characteristics
- A degree in computer science or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience with DevOps AWS and PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and/or
- Proficiency in Linux C or Java
- Fluency in English and Swedish both spoken and written is required
- Experience and/or keen inerest in leadership and mentoring is meritorious aiming to take on greater responsibility as a natural next step in your career
