Weekly Pay Rate: $2800 - $2960; (Negotiable based on experience)

Days: Monday Wednesday Thursday Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description:

The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiograms and related procedures for patients assisting the medical team in diagnosing heart conditions. The role requires skilled use of echocardiogram equipment to capture two-dimensional spectral doppler and color doppler images as well as the administration of contrast agents when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform various echocardiogram diagnostic tests including:
- M-mode two-dimensional spectral doppler color doppler and stress echocardiograms (exercise/pharmacological).
Ability to place and remove peripheral IV for contrast administration and agitated saline in accordance with echocardiogram protocol.
Work with physicians to analyze results and assist in determining the most appropriate treatments.
Document and maintain accurate patient records related to procedures performed.
Assist in maintaining equipment and ensuring its proper functionality.
Maintain compliance with safety protocols and best practices.

Qualifications:

Experience: 5 years of experience preferred. Trauma Level 1 experience.
Certification: ARDMS/RDCS accreditation eligible.
Skills: Proficiency in all types of echocardiogram diagnostic tests.
BLS Certification is required.
Ability to manage IV placement for contrast agents as needed.
