Area HR Manager

As an Area HR Manager you are responsible to ensure all our stores are equipped to provide the best possible customer experience by securing the successful implementation of the brands HR strategy short and this role you work together with Area and Store Teams to secure quality throughout the employee life cycle. This role will be responsible for stores in: FR/PL/ES/LU/IT/BE/LV.

What you will do:  

• Responsible for implementing the brand HR strategy to ensure employee engagement and the quality of the employee life cycle  
• Contribute to a people first working environment driving and supporting actions & events based on the annual HR goals   
• Collaborate with all functions in the Area Team contribute to an efficient- and informative- workflow  
• Collaborate with the Global Team to provide feedback on the people agenda to influence materials and processes needed to meet the changing needs   
• Train & coach Store Managers to take actions based on HR KPIs to ensure business needs are met   
• Work with Store Managers to ensure stores operate within the guidelines of global health & safety policy  
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with H&M group HR teams to ensure quality of employee relations   
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition Partners to secure recruitment activities and succession planning  
• Knowledgeable on local legislation and culture liaise with H&M HR and legal departments to ensure all &OS stores are following local policies

What you need to succeed: 

• Previous experience in HR
• Background in fashion retail with a strong understanding of store operations and customer experience
• Proven leadership experience including developing and mentoring team members
• Excellent French and English communication skills both written and spoken
• Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building abilities
• Sales-driven and results-oriented approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools
• Willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time
