Description

This role is for a seasoned sales professional to lead the go-to-market strategy for our innovative nature-based carbon solutions and tree-planting project development. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales plans in the environmental sector.

What youll do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to establish and grow our market presence
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing high-value deals
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise and mid-market clients acting as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador
  • Identify and capitalize on up-selling and cross-selling opportunities aligning our solutions with evolving customer needs
  • Provide strategic insights and customer intelligence to inform product development and marketing efforts
  • Effectively communicate our product strategy and value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and maintain a deep understanding of environmental solutions

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • A minimum of 7 years of senior-level sales or business development experience in the environmental industry
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans that have resulted in significant revenue growth
  • A self-starter with a high degree of initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and proven ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team
  • Outstanding organizational planning and time management skills

Great to haves:

  • Deep knowledge or experience in environmental technology and sustainability
  • Experience working closely with product development teams
  • A passion for supporting Indigenous Peoples in Canada and Reconciliation
  • Experience navigating large complex technology organizations
