Ledcor Highways Ltd. (LHL) is offering exciting road maintenance opportunities across Ontario providing year-round employment with long-term contracts.

- Wawa
- White River
- Hinkler Lake
- Chapleau
- Hilton Beach
- Thessalon
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate snowplow trucks wheel loaders and other heavy equipment as required
- Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round including assisting with Labourer duties (pothole repair guardrail repair bridge and signage cleaning hazard remediation etc.)
- Work outside in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasksincluding lifting50lbs on a regular basis bending kneeling crouching etc.
- Valid AZ or DZ drivers license with air endorsement
- Provide a copy of a 3-year commercial drivers abstract
- Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset
Work Conditions
- Local applicants will be given preference due to the location of the work
- Accommodations provided for out of town applicants in Hinkler Lake Chapleau and White River
- As we respond to various weather patterns shift work on-call and night shift will be required
- Work schedules will consist of either 5 consecutive days followed by 2 days off or 6 consecutive days followed by 1 day off with daily shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours (Shop specific)
