Rates & Premiums:
Will be provided a base hourly rate of $43.75/hour
Mechanics will be paid a skilled trade premium of $5/hour in the following geographic locations in Ontario: Agawa Wawa Hornepayne Chapleau Hinkler White River
Work Conditions:
Full time work schedules 10-hour shifts
Must be flexible to work rotation
Travel to various field operations may be required

Essential Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment such as plow and sanding trucks loaders and light support gear
Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
Engage and participate in Ledcor safety policies and procedures
Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
Qualifications:
Must have a 310T Truck and Coach ticket from a recognized provincial authority
Previous experience working with heavy civil construction and/or highway paving and highway maintenance equipment (i.e. snowplows) would be an asset
421A Heavy Equipment Technician ticket is an asset
A valid Drivers License and ability to provide a 3-year drivers abstract
Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions which may be accompanied by sketches and diagrams
Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
