The Substance Use Counselor III is an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team who is primarily responsible coordinating individual and group counseling. This position requires role modeling accountability for compliance with regulatory standards and oversight of Substance Use Counselor I & II.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience
- Masters degree in Health or Human services.
- Must be Certified Associate Counselor- Alcohol and Drug (CAC-AD) Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LCADC) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) and an Alcohol and Drug Approved Supervisor by Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapist.
- Must have minimum of two years of Substance Use Disorder experience.
