Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Strong research writing skills and academic record required. A former clerkship is a plus.
- Experience taking and defending depositions; preparing witnesses for depositions and trial.
- The ability to independently manage cases is required.
- Experience handling all phases of discovery including electronic discovery.
- Experience drafting pleadings motions memoranda of law and briefs; courtroom work (presentation of evidence and legal arguments).
- Trial experience required.
- Team player; collaborative approach; highly motivated.
- Large law firm experience preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including but not limited to computers telephones printers and copiers.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

- Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
