Job Description

Title: Membership Coordinator

Reports to: Club Director

Salary Range: $16-17 - DOE

Location: Spence Eccles Boys & Girls Club 141 N 600 W Salt Lake City UT 84116

Hours and Schedule: 25 hours/week Mon-Thurs 1:45pm-6:30pm Fridays 12:00pm-6:30pm with the potential for more summer hours

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake is seeking a dynamic Membership Coordinator to be the heartbeat of our organization. If youre passionate professional and thrive in a fast-paced environment this is the role for you.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate membership records and database entries ensuring smooth operations for our members and staff
  • Field member inquiries from parents and families assist with youth registration and renewals and provide exceptional customer service
  • Help coordinate member events and meetings
  • Organize office supplies and handle payments
  • Engage with our young members offering mentorship and support as they navigate their Club experience
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Needed Knowledge:

  • Some front desk office or customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and Google Docs with the ability to learn new software tools as needed
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to handle personal information with sensitivity and confidentiality
  • Able to communicate effectively over the phone in person and over email
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a lively energetic environment

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check MVR check and drug screening
  • 21 years and over required (to meet driving requirements) be willing and able to drive 15 passenger vans

Job Preferences:

  • Spanish-speaking fluency
  • 2 years of office experience
  • 1 year of experience working with youth
