Responsibilities
- Develop coordinate and implement educational programs for patients families and staff.
- Provide training mentorship and clinical guidance to nursing staff in maternal and adult care practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess educational needs and design tailored training plans.
- Deliver patient education sessions in both office and community settings.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to clinical standards regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of educational activities training sessions and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters degree preferred.
- Licensure:Active unrestricted RN license in New York State.
- Certifications:BLS required; additional certifications in maternal health or adult care highly preferred.
- Experience:Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in both maternal and adult care.
- Strong teaching communication and organizational skills.
