Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Step-Downfor an exciting job in Neptune NJ.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess patients collaborating with physicians on care plans.
Plan implement and document nursing care tailored to individual patient needs.
Prioritize and manage patient care through assessment intervention and evaluation.
Develop coordinate and update care plans through ongoing assessments.
Provide therapeutic nursing interventions and manage complex patient care.
Perform assessments based on presenting problems diagnoses and patient condition.
Document care in compliance with hospital standards and clinical priorities.
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
Advocate for evidence-based practices and support care innovations.
Float to units within scope of competency as required.
Provide support to Neuro/Stroke and Neurosurgery patients in a busy ICU Step-Down environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry within an acute care hospital.
Strong Med/Surg and Telemetry background.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Ventilator management.
Post-cardiac surgery and post-surgical recovery experience.
Epic charting proficiency.
Neuro/Stroke/Neurosurgery exposure.
Education
ASN required
BSN preferred
Certifications & Licensure (Required)
Active NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state compact license.
BLS (AHA) Basic Life Support.
ACLS (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
NIHSS Stroke Scale certification.
Telemetry certification.
CEU Contact Hours (Stroke 4 hours).
