Job Summary
- Lead mentor and manage a team of DevOps engineers and Linux administrators to achieve project and operational goals.
- Architect implement and manage scalable Linux-based infrastructure on AWS using core services such as EC2 S3 RDS VPC IAM Lambda CloudFormation CloudWatch and more.
- Develop maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins GitLab CI or equivalent.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
- Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker to support microservices deployment.
- Define implement and enforce DevOps best practices including security monitoring logging backup and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely deployments.
- Oversee incident management root cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex production issues.
- Drive continuous process improvements including documentation of infrastructure runbooks standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies audit requirements and industry standards.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide transparent progress updates.
Skills:
- 6 years of Linux system administration and AWS experience with deep troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading DevOps teams and projects.
- Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS VPC IAM Lambda CloudFormation CloudWatch and others.
- Proven skills in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI).
- Expertise in automation and configuration management tools (Terraform Ansible Shelli Script).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Solid scripting ability in Bash Python or equivalent languages.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or CloudWatch.
- Strong knowledge of networking security best practices and cloud architecture principle Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
