We are currently expanding our network of freelance electricians to carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) on residential properties. This opportunity is ideal for qualified professionals looking to work flexibly focus on their trade and earn competitive rates - without chasing leads or handling admin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in accordance with BS 7671 (18th Edition)
- Inspect and test fixed electrical installations to assess safety compliance and overall condition
- Identify and document faults or issues clearly using correct observation codes (C1 C2 C3 FI)
- Record and submit accurate test results using provided templates or digital platforms
- Ensure timely completion and submission of all reports for internal review and lodgment
- Lodge completed EICRs with the relevant client or regulatory body as required
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach when interacting with tenants landlords or managing agents
- Keep all testing equipment calibrated and in good working order
- Adhere to relevant health and safety guidelines and on-site protocols

What Youll Need:
- Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent testing and inspection certification)
- City & Guilds 2382-22 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
- Own calibrated multifunction tester (e.g. Megger Fluke Kewtech)
- Public Liability Insurance
- Reliable transport and mobile device for submitting reports
