Job Description
import/export job involves managing the movement of goods across international borders requiring a focus on regulatory compliance documentation logistics coordination and client/supplier relations to ensure timely and efficient international trade. Key responsibilities include preparing shipping documents liaising with customs coordinating freight forwarders and tracking shipments while staying updated on trade laws and market trends to optimize operations and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation:
Preparing reviewing and managing all necessary documents for customs clearance and international shipments.
Compliance:
Ensuring all import and export activities comply with international trade laws regulations and tariffs.
Logistics Coordination:
Arranging and tracking shipments working with customs brokers freight forwarders and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery.
Customer and Supplier Relations:
Managing communications and relationships with clients suppliers and partners involved in the supply chain.
Problem-Solving:
Identifying and resolving issues related to customs shipments or regulatory compliance.
Process Optimization:
Monitoring and evaluating import/export processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
Market Analysis:
Staying informed about global trade trends and market changes to identify opportunities and potential risks.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Organizational Skills: Essential for managing complex logistics and detailed documentation.
