About the Role
Were looking for a technically skilled and service-oriented Data Engineer with strong SPSS expertise to play a key role in supporting our internal data processing ecosystem. This is a hands-on support role where youll be the go-to expert for our proprietary data processing platform used daily by teams across the organization. Youll collaborate with data processing specialists and internal users to resolve issues improve workflows and ensure the platform runs smoothly and efficiently. Your SPSS knowledge will be a strong asset in helping users navigate complex data tasks while your broader focus will be on delivering responsive high-quality support that keeps our internal tools running at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for our internal data processing tool providing technical support and guidance to users across the company.
- Serve as a key point of contact for troubleshooting data-related issues including those involving SPSS workflows.
- Collaborate with data processing experts and users to diagnose problems implement solutions and improve overall system usability.
- Develop and maintain clear user-friendly documentation including troubleshooting guides and training materials.
- Assist in onboarding and training internal users helping them navigate tools and adopt best practices for data processing.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for enhancement and proactively suggest improvements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing support processes and user experience.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Statistics or a related field.
- Proven experience with SPSS in a professional setting including data manipulation statistical analysis and automation.
- Strong understanding of data processing workflows including data cleaning transformation and validation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating SPSS with other tools or platforms (e.g. Python R databases).
- Familiarity with UNICOM Intelligence (formerly IBM SPSS Data Collection).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to write clear documentation and training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in agile environments and participating in sprint planning or retrospectives.
- Experience working in cross-functional technical teams.
