This role to Proposal Engineer Filtration products will be responsible for complex techno-commercial offers support to global sales/customers. Responsible for quality and On Time Delivery (OTD) of the techno commercial offers prepared. Resolve TQ & CQ until order is resulted.
Key Activities:
- Analyzing inquiries make correct product selection inline with customer needs & global standard.
- Studying Customer RFQ and project specifications prepare comments - deviation sheet product datasheet and costing sheet for filter and/or entire filtration systems. etc
- Manage KPI in terms of On time delivery (OTD) and Quality of the outputs
- Ensure compliance with proposal process and outputs from proposal team.
- Co-ordinate with various global cross functional teams (CZ Plant/CoE/JVEL) for getting results.
- Follow regular inquiry review meetings Daily accountability (DAM) meetings.
- Keep focus on opportunities of improvements through SES tool to improve KPIs

- Working on nonstandard / Standard First Fit & spares inquiries with complex requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Attend and understand all assigned training programs. Including Know how and GLR.
- Ensure meet the business expectations in terms of On time delivery (OTD) Cost and quality outputs.
- Learn about the tools used make sure error free quotation preparation.
- Responsible timely support for SAP quotes correct price estimation for technical requirements.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures (Smiths values and Leadership behaviors).
- Follow Quality register matrix and look for improvement opportunities using SES problem solving tools
- Support Sales / BDMs / Junior engineers about engineering process & products.
- To use Engineering tools and perform correct nonstandard standard product selection calculation.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain good rapport with sales and internal customers.
- Should actively contribute to Continuous Improvements in their day-to-day work.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors in mechanical engineering or equivalent min. 4-7 years experience
- Technical proposal / application engineering.
- Pressure Vessels Thermodynamics ASMEAD-2000
- CAD Knowledge.
- Knowledge of Welding Process
