Job Description

As a Senior Java Developer you will be part of the team that modernizes and enhances the platform services that power mission-critical applications.
You will contribute to the design development and operation of highly available scalable and reliable microservices on Google Cloud Platform. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong cloud expertise software development skills and the ability to solve complex challenges in distributed systems.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the next generation of the clients SaaS platform leveraging AI to improve customer service in the Contact Center.
- Design develop and maintain highly available scalable and reliable microservices.
- Apply expertise in cloud computing software technologies and open-source tools to solve complex platform challenges.
- Gain deep knowledge of existing systems and actively contribute to their design and modernization.
- Provide production support by troubleshooting and diving deep into the software stack.
- Collaborate with peers in a high-performing team environment demonstrating ownership and accountability.
Qualifications :
- 6 years of software development experience in Java with Spring Boot.
- 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure).
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).
- Proven experience designing and building highly available scalable applications.
- Strong understanding of cloud design principles virtualization distributed systems load balancing networking event processing large-scale data storage and security.
Nice to have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with GCP services such as BigQuery Cloud Storage Cloud Functions Pub/Sub App Engine and Cloud SQL.
- Familiarity with Continuous Delivery practices including development testing deployment and management on GCP.
