You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to support cost planning and project budgeting across our real estate developments spanning residential commercial and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate BOQs cost estimates and rate analyses during pre-construction and execution phases.
Analyze architectural and structural drawings project specifications and municipal regulations.
Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial real estate projects.
Generate and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material take-offs.
Conduct rate analysis for civil finishing and MEP works based on current market rates.
Liaise with procurement to collect vendor/supplier quotations for costing inputs.
Prepare and evaluate cost comparison sheets cost-benefit analyses and value engineering proposals.
Track and update construction cost databases with recent rates and inflation-adjusted pricing.
Collaborate with the design execution and finance teams to align costs with project budgets.
Assist in preparing technical and commercial bids for government or private tenders if applicable.
Participate in site visits for scope verification and to support cost validation during execution.
Expertise in reading and interpreting GFC drawings tender documents and construction specs.
Proficiency in MS Excel AutoCAD and any estimation or ERP software (e.g. Candy CostX SAP).
Strong knowledge of market rates for materials and labor in the real estate sector.
Understanding of construction practices including RCC finishing plumbing electrical and HVAC.
Strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
3 7 years of experience in estimation cost planning or quantity surveying within real estate/construction.
Familiarity with RERA guidelines and local building codes is an added advantage.
