Job Description
Role Responsibilities:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or related engineering field with strong basics
- Ideally 3 years of HVAC work experience with good hands-on experience with components sub-assemblies and assemblies of HVAC Products
- Knowledge of Heat Transfer Hydraulic Network Design Sheet Metal Design
- Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks
- Knowledge of Enovia & Jira will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of psychometric analysis and refrigeration is a plus
- Experience in NPI Stage Gate process and ERP system is a plus
- Develop and design HVAC systems using SolidWorks ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Maintain proper documentation and records of design work and revisions
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proficient in using SolidWorks for 3D modelling and design
- Excellent understanding of mechanical concepts and engineering practices
- Experience in project management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work
- Familiarity with HVAC regulations and compliance standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work on-site and attend meetings and project sites as required
- Strong work ethic and professional demeanour
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
- Prior experience in a design engineering role is preferred
