Job Summary

Key Responsibilities :

WordPress Development :

- Build customize and maintain WordPress websites.

- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.

- Implement responsive web design to ensure optimal performance on different devices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites plugins and themes.

- Testing and deployment of wordpress applications.

PHP Development :

- Write clean well-structured PHP code to enhance website functionalities.

- Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins using PHP.

- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate PHP scripts into the website.

MySQL Database Management :

- Design create and maintain databases in MySQL.

- Optimize database queries to improve website speed and performance.

- Perform database backups migrations and recovery.

- Ensure the security and integrity of the websites data.

Collaboration :

- Work with designers and project managers to translate UI/UX designs into functioning websites.

- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the websites are tested for performance responsiveness and security.

Optimization & Security :

- Ensure websites are optimized for performance scalability and security.

- Implement SEO best practices in website development.

- Keep up-to-date with the latest WordPress PHP and MySQL security practices.

Core WordPress Skills

Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS (installation configuration themes plugins).
Understanding of WordPress architecture (hooks actions filters).
Ability to create and customize themes (child themes template hierarchy).
Ability to develop and modify plugins.
Familiarity with WordPress REST API.
