Roles & Responsibilities :
Take full ownership of the system architecture for next-gen BMS system defining how batteries PCS EMS PPC TMS IMD cloud systems and other interfaces come together.
Turn ambitious product visions into clear detailed system requirements that guide engineering design and manufacturing teams.
Evaluate current and upcoming technologies to provide practical architectural solutions that optimize cost reusability robustness and reliability across platforms while reducing development effort and cost.
Lead system-level design reviews spot integration gaps early and drive technical decision-making at vehicle level.
Define interface contracts across all major subsystems (BMS EMS PCS Connectivity TMS IMS BDU) ensuring we ship reliable scalable platforms.
Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales and Marketing hardware Firmware software and testing teams to build integrate validate and launch.
Create and own system documentation architecture diagrams interface definitions failure analyses and traceability.
Dig deep into functional safety cybersecurity and regulatory compliance ensuring our the toughest standards.
Be hands-on during BESS prototype builds integration testing and root-cause problem solving you wont just sit behind a desk.
Mentor train and coach engineering teams on technical intricacies related to system design
Qualifications :
You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills:
B.E. / / M.E. / in Electrical Electronics
8-12 years of deep experience in EV system engineering vehicle integration BESS integration or platform architecture preferably in BESS or HV EVs or high-performance mobility startups.
Solid technical grounding in:
o RTOS (FreeRTOS SafeRTOS YactoLinux)
o Battery management systems (BMS)
o Knowledge of PCS EMS BDU TMM IMD integration
o C /C Matlab & Simulink Python hands on experience
o HMI and user app
o BMS PCS PPC EMS and MESA protocols
o CAN bus Modbus diagnostics and basic cybersecurity principles.
o Experience using tools like Vector CANalyzer/CANoe DOORS/Polarion Simulink and system modeling software.
o Exposure to functional safety frameworks (IEC UL) and homologation (IEC standards preferred).
o Design using UML concepts
o A track record of building and shipping real or major platforms from prototype to production.
o Startup DNA bias for action comfort with ambiguity relentless focus on outcomes.
o Collaborate with the cross-functional teams
o Mentor & influence the team through the demonstration of depth of knowledge
o Continuously update to the state-of-the-art and strong appetite for learning
