Job Description
Our client who specialises in steel manufacturing is expanding and looking for a CNC Laser and Press Brake Operator with 5 years experience for the Roodepoort / Randburg area.
- Set up programming and operation of CNC laser (Bystronic) and press brake.
- Read and interpret engineered drawings and work instructions
- Operation of CNC laser and press brake including tooling changes
- Maintain a clean work area and assure safe operation of all equipment. Follow Preventive Maintenance schedule to keep machines in top order
- Quality assurance for work performed
- Ability to operate large machining equipment
- Full understanding of all processes procedures and safety risks associated with the steel manufacturing areas
- Personal discipline to perform all assigned tasks and ensures product quality
- Perform self inspection or quality checks of parts and ensure they meet print specifications
- Excellent dexterity
- Work independently but also as part of a team
Requirements:
- High School Grade 12
- 5 years of experience working with metal fabrication machines in a manufacturing environment
