A leading Engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Key Administrator/Senior Administrator to join their team. If you have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in the Build Environment including familiarity with administrative processes and an understanding of industry codes standards and legal requirements we encourage you to apply.
Qualifications:
- National Diploma in administration or equivalent.
OR
- Project Administration Course equivalent to an NQF Level 5.
Software:
Proficiency in the following software is essential:
- MS Office Packages: MS Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook.
- Adobe Acrobat.
Duties:
As a Key Administrator/Senior Administrator your role will be linked to the program management performance domains. You will provide support and guidance in managing schedules budgets risks and other areas required for various projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring projects are organised and consistently executed within established standards.
- Providing information necessary for decision-making that guides the program.
- Providing administrative support to the program.
- Having a broad view of program objectives and organisational culture and processes.
- Addressing several issues systematically and effectively throughout the program.

- Ability to plan schedule and perform clerical and administrative functions independently with minimal oversight.
- Capability to follow and execute instructions.
- Willingness to perform assigned duties even in the absence of relevant quality and procedural workflows and templates.
- Diligence and responsibility for the quality of work and deliverables issued to team members and clients.
- Strong time management skills to work under strict deadlines with short turnaround periods.
- Flexibility to attend to multiple tasks.
- Proactive approach to identify and address problems before they occur.
- Use of standardised administrative methodologies and best practices to ensure repeatability of products in compliance with the companys Quality Management System and international standards.
- Proficient in English language with excellent grammar and spelling skills.
- Collaborative and effective communication with team members clients contractors outside vendors manufacturers and design firms regarding project or company matters.
- Ability to collaborate with other administrators and work as part of a team.
- Capable of arranging meetings preparing agendas taking and preparing minutes and assisting project managers with meeting arrangements.
- Skilled in answering phone calls taking messages and redirecting calls.
- Assisting the technical team with assessment and progress reports as well as performing administrative duties such as copying binding and packaging.
- Organised and detail-oriented able to track projects deliverables and diligently follow up on issues requiring approval.
Salary:
The salary for this position is negotiable and will range from R20000 to R25000 depending on qualifications and experience.
