Job Summary

**Job Information:**-

**Work Setting:** Hospital

**Who You Will Help:**- **Adults Only**: 100% of patients-

**Trauma Patients**: 40% of cases-

**Inpatient Care**: 100% of time-

**Average Patients Each Day**: In the Neuro ICU there are about 10 patients. There are also about 5 neurosurgery consults each night.-

**Available Services**: Lab and X-ray are available at the hospital.-

**Trauma Level**: This is a level 1 trauma center and handles serious cases including strokes.

**Qualifications:**-

**Certification**: You must be Board Certified as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) in Ohio - this is required.-

**Ohio License**: You need to have a valid license to work in Ohio - no exceptions.-

**Background Check**: A clean background is required - no exceptions.-

**Certifications**: You must have BLS and ACLS certifications - these are required.-

**ENLS Certification**: This is highly preferred.-

**Experience**: You should be comfortable working in a Neuro ICU at a level 1 trauma center. Experience with stroke patients is required.-

**Night Duty**: You will be working at night in a Neuro ICU with 16 beds and handling neurosurgery consultations - this is required.
