**Work Setting:

** Hospital -

**Patient Group:** Adults only (100%) -

**Type of Cases:** Trauma patients (40% of cases) -

**Patient Care:** Inpatients only (100%) -

**Average Patients:** About 10 patients in the Neuro ICU and 5 neurosurgery consultations each night. -

**Other Doctors:** No other neurologists will be there while you work.

**Facilities Available:** Lab and X-ray services on-site. -

**Trauma Level:** This is a level 1 trauma center for serious injuries and a specialized center for strokes. - **Documentation System:

** We use Epic for patient records and documentation.

**Qualifications:**

**Certification:

** Must be board certified (Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner) in Ohio - this is necessary. - **Licensing:

** Must have an Ohio license - no exceptions. -

**Background Check:** Must have a clean background - no exceptions. -

**Certifications:** Must have BLS and ACLS certifications - these are required. -

**Preferred Certification:

** ENLS certification is a strong plus. -

**Experience Needed:** Must be able to work in a Neuro ICU in a level 1 trauma center. You should have experience with stroke patients. -

**Night Coverage:** You need to be able to cover a Neuro ICU with 16 beds at night and handle neurosurgical consultations at night. This is essential.
