Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency medical situations and provide immediate care to patients.
• Perform medical assessments examinations and diagnostic tests to determine the nature of the patients condition.
• Stabilize patients experiencing trauma injuries or acute illnesses.
• Administer medications treatments and interventions following established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Document all medical interventions treatment plans and patient progress accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients families and staff members to provide updates and instructions.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in healthcare practices and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
• Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
• Demonstrated experience working in emergency departments or urgent care settings.
• Proficiency in performing medical procedures such as intubation suturing and splinting.
• Strong decision-making abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse populations.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of Emergency Medicine.

Level IV trauma

Schedule: 8 to 9-hour day or night shifts

Annual Volume: 15k patients

16 ED beds 4 for lower acuity

Support Staff: APPs scribes additional MDs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
