Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst
Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for managing budgeting forecasting and delivering comprehensive financial reporting and analysis to drive business performance. This role partners with cross-functional teams to analyze trends identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable insights while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. With a focus on financial modeling problem-solving and supporting strategic initiatives this position is pivotal in guiding decision-making in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage budgets forecasts and cash flow reports for all business entities.
- Develop and present monthly and quarterly consolidated P&L Cash Flow and Balance Sheet reports.
- Create supporting documentation and perform capital expenditure analysis for upper management approval.
- Generate regular sales and operations reports highlighting key insights.
- Analyze sales margin and expense trends to identify patterns and recommend process improvement opportunities.
- Communicate with operation department leads to interpret business trends market environment and customer behavior across the value chain.
- Implement and maintain robust systems and controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of actual and forecast data.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to produce actionable reports and address business challenges.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations company policies and industry standards in all financial reporting and analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in accounting Finance Business Management or a related field is required; a Masters degree is preferred.
- 5 years of financial analysis experience preferably in retail wholesale or logistic industry.
- Adaptable and willing to work flexible schedules to meet operational needs.
- Skilled in analyzing complex data summarizing key insights and refining information for clarity and actionable outcomes
- Familiar with SQL Python data warehousing and advanced expertise in Microsoft Office tools including Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
