At our critical access hospital youll experience the unique reward of providing comprehensive personalized care through every stage of pregnancy labor delivery and postpartum. Youll be an integral part of a close-knit team that supports women and their families through one of lifes most profound journeys all within the inviting atmosphere of a rural community.

What Youll Do:

As an OB Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Providing comprehensive evidence-based nursing care to antepartum intrapartum postpartum and gynecological patients.
• Assessing planning implementing and evaluating nursing care for laboring women ensuring a safe and comfortable birth experience.
• Monitoring fetal heart tones interpreting EFM tracings and managing labor progression.
• Assisting with and circulating during Caesarean sections.
• Providing expert care to newborns including initial assessments newborn stabilization and feeding support.
• Educating new parents on newborn care breastfeeding recovery and discharge instructions.
• Administering medications safely and accurately adhering to facility policies and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of all patient care.
• Collaborating effectively with physicians midwives anesthesiologists and other healthcare team members.
• Responding to emergent situations with calm and skilled intervention.
• Championing patient and family-centered care.

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Associate of Science in Nursing
• Active North Dakota (ND) Registered Nurse License compact state RN licensure accepted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association (AHA).
• NRP to be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Preferred:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pedieatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
