We are expanding our translation team under a new USCIS contract and seeking full-time Document Translators to process sensitive immigration-related materials with accuracy confidentiality and compliance.
- Translate official USCIS documents (immigration records forms evidence submissions) with 100% accuracy.
- Maintain terminology consistency in line with USCIS glossaries and standards.
- Proofread and review translations for clarity grammar and completeness.
- Handle urgent and high-volume assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with quality assurance (QA) staff to ensure compliance with ISO 17100 standards.
- Adhere to USCIS protocols regarding confidentiality privacy and data security.
- Support expedited requests when needed (2448 hours turnaround).
- Fluency in English and at least one target language (priority: Spanish Arabic Mandarin Russian Haitian Creole; rare languages highly valued).
- Bachelors degree in Translation Linguistics or related field.
- 2 years of professional translation experience (government legal or immigration sector preferred).
- ATA certification or equivalent credentials strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with CAT tools and secure translation platforms.
- Must be able to pass a Tier 3 or Tier 5 federal background investigation.
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency required.
