1099 Maintenance Worker and put your expertise to work on flexible projects when support is needed
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker (1099 contractor) to perform a variety of handyman and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in general maintenance demonstrate professionalism on worksites and be able to work independently with their own tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and handyman tasks including:
Running wires
Installing cameras
Patching holes and repairing drywall
General repairs as assigned
Use your own tools and ladder to complete tasks efficiently and safely
Maintain a clean safe and professional work environment including site cleanup after each job
Be available on a PRN / as-needed basisduring business hours
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and staff
Requirements
Proven experience as a handyman maintenance worker or in a similar role
Proficiency ingeneral maintenance
Must provide your own tools and ladder (examples: drill screwdrivers pliers wire cutters drywall tools painting/patching supplies etc.)
Must carry valid contractor liability insurance
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds climb ladders bend and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation to and from job site
Professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients
Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Contract Details
Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: PRN / As-Needed during business hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).
