Nationwide IT Services NIS is seeking an experienced Computer Engineer IVfor a potential opportunity to provide critical engineering and technical support for research hardware software design and system development in support of NIWC Atlantic. Minimum Experience & Education
- Education & Experience:
- Masters Degree 10 years of relevant experience OR
- Bachelors Degree 14 years of relevant experience.
- Background must include expertise in computer design software development or computer networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and technical support services for system research hardware and software design and development activities.
- Conduct engineering analyses using modeling and simulation of systems and operational environments which may include but are not limited to:
- Static Analysis
- Dynamic Analysis
- Thermal Analysis
- Fluid Flow Analysis
- Perform software engineering tasks including:
- Design development and documentation of software solutions to meet specific government requirements.
- Ensure all software and computer engineering efforts are performed by certified personnel.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven ability to integrate hardware and software components into complex systems.
- Strong analytical skills and experience applying engineering methodologies to assess and improve system performance.
- Familiarity with government processes and standards for software and hardware certification.
