POSITION FUNCTION:

Under the direction of the Manager the Program Support Worker provides support to the Enhancing Healthier Relationships program team and clients through effective and timely performance of administrative and clerical duties.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform administrative tasks: answer inquiries about the programs/projects; file documents; produce documents and spreadsheets; prepare and/or assist with presentations marketing reports and surveys; order office/program supplies and maintain inventory; code invoices; enter/record financial data and other data.
  • Respond to client and community partners inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Support clients: register them; maintain client records; provide information/referrals and orientation; additional support asassigned.
  • Promote program to interested clients answer client questions regarding the program participation and registerclients using appropriate database and procedures.
  • Assist with client intake and coordinating workshop logistics details.
  • Provide administrative support for reports client intake information workshop attendance and forms. Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to client/student information.
  • Provide general orientation to the facilities for clients/community partners/stakeholders both in person and over the phone.
  • Perform administrative duties related to the program or project as assigned.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Office Management/Business Administration diploma/certificates and/or appropriate combination of experience and training.
  • 1-2 years relevant administration experience.
  • A current and satisfactory Criminal record check is required.


DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent administration skills with some experience in data management
  • Proficient computer skills in word processing spreadsheets database and standard office equipment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to speak other languages will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge about mental health needs
  • Great coordination skills effective organizational abilities: able to set priorities and meet deadlines; able to multi-task.
  • Able to work independently and with a team.
  • Must possess sound judgement and initiative.
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the needs of diverse clients with mental health issues


COMPENSATION: $24.82 -$25.70 per hour


HOURS:

1 part-time position (14 hours per week) fixed term ending May 31 2026.The successful candidate may be permitted to work a hybrid work model (combination of in-office work and remote work).

The successful candidates must be able to commute to the Boundary office 5575 Boundary Rd Vancouver.

The role requires staff to work after regualr office hours as needed.


BENEFITS: A competitive benefits package is provided with contracts of at least 1 year in length and which offer a minimum of 17.5 hours of work per week.
