Accountable to the Superintendent in overall management of the districts humanresources functions. Accountable for the strategic planning and implementation of human resourcesprograms to include professional and auxiliary staffing wage and salary administrationleave administration employee relations & records benefits and unemployment claims. The Human Resources Manager will plan lead direct develop and coordinate thepolicies activities and staff of the Human Resources (HR) department ensuring legalcompliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy. The ideal candidate should possess a high work ethic excellent communication skillsknowledge of labor regulations and HR practices strategic thinking abilities strongorganizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills. This person will have a proven trackrecord of leading and motivating a team. They will be customer-focused with the ability towork collaboratively at all levels of the organization particularly with educational leaders andstaff. The HR manager should improve HR processes implement strategies that supportbusiness growth improve morale and employee retention enhance safety and wellnessstrengthen relations between staff and employers manage job satisfaction attract the bestrecruits and promote the organizations values.
