Job Summary
About the role
The Corporate FP&A team is seeking a Senior Associate Consultant who is able to analyze interpret and synthesize complex financial information in a manner that supports executive decision-making and drives AIGs financial and operational ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable insights and recommendations to senior the candidate must demonstrate organizational and communication skills and the ability to deliver a high-quality work product in a dynamic fast-paced this role you can work towards ambitious career goals with mentors within the company.
What you need to know:
Manage the Top-down model (including Expenses) that sets the upcoming years targets and tracking against those KPIs (including Expense Ratio) and goals
Prepare STI and LTI plan calculations and performance measurement
Directly supervise and coach financial analyst
Support development of storyboards and Board of Directors / Senior Management level presentations that synthesize and clearly convey key themes and analytics along with financial results and KPIs in a cohesive manner
Participate in weekly Pulse forecast process including multiple meetings with stakeholders tracking of key updates to financial results and developing corresponding analytics
Close and frequent collaboration with Investor Relations Capital Management / Treasury and Controllers teams
Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic (e.g. M&A) and operational initiatives
Clearly communicate financial information and analysis to senior management
What were looking for:
2 years of prior business experience required prior consulting experience with a consulting firm corporate strategy M&A or investment banking/private equity preferred.
Proven ability to execute rigorous analytically-intensive work including demonstrated mastery of Excel and Powerpoint.
Knowledge in advanced data analysis visualization (including PowerBI and/or Tableau) and statistical tools a plus but not required.
Bachelors degree is required with a major in a quantitative field (e.g. computer science engineering finance accounting mathematics economics) preferred
Demonstrated financial acumen and experience developing detailed financial models / analysis and sophisticated PowerPoint presentations
Excellent written verbal and interpersonal skills
Proactive highly motivated and results-driven
